Max Highline
We love the Max Highline tonneau cover. We had one of them fitted to our very own Martini World Rally Car Edition and it looked wonderful. These covers are a waterproof solution, which are colour coded to match the vehicle, and lift at 45 degrees as well as on the horizontal. They lock in place at the top of the horizontal although we wouldn’t recommend driving along with it locked in place. The covers are very robust as well as being easy to open and close. You don’t need brute force on it and once it is locked you know it’s locked.
With this cover you need to remove the Wildtrak sports bar and side rails. However, it still looks good and can be combined with a nifty revised grill. If you really do want wholly watertight solution then you can’t really go wrong with one of these. On the Limited model it is a no-brainer and on the Wildtrak it is a very sound and good looking solution for a common issue around water.
We have fitted plenty of these, well Autostyling have in Walsall. They are our preferred supplier of these so we deliver the vehicle to them from the franchised dealer, get the top fitted and then onward deliver to you. That way it also comes with a lovely warranty from Autostyling.
Our only tip with this one is to make sure you open it once a week. We once left the cover closed on a demonstrator for a month… and it can get a bit mouldy inside if there is not fresh air coming in. This cover is also best teamed up with a BedRug, which we can also supply.
